Artwork Services
For adverts requiring logos, we will produce your advert artwork for you. You should supply a rough layout sketch, with colours specified, along with any logos or special matter required. Logos must be supplied as digital files on disc or by email.
Advert Sizes
Each title carries a template size; these are the advert dimensions. If you supply your own artwork, we can resize it to fit different template sizes.
Colours
These are digitally printed calendars. Any Pantone colours required will be created from CMYK (cyan. magenta, yellow & black) to match specific corporate colours.
Creating Your Own Artwork
We can produce from the following professional desktop publishing and artwork applications: QuarkXpress, Freehand, Illustrator, PageMaker, InDesign and Photoshop, please use the generic file format. If no editing is required, convert to paths or outlines otherwise supply all fonts. Alternatively, you may supply files as editable eps files or as PDF documents (1.3) with fonts embedded. Ensure all PDF preferences are set for press optimisation (we can supply on request).
When supplying your artwork, please specify the application(s) used and, if possible, create artwork to the actual template size of the advert area required.
Logos & Four-Colour Process
Logos should be supplied wherever possible in their original generic file format, we can also accept PDFs or editable eps files. Only supply raster images such as tiff or jpeg if they are for reproduction in a single colour or four-colour process.
Supplying Your Own Pictures
If you have an image or complex logo we will need a colour-accurate proof such as an Iris or Matchprint. We will produce your artwork from these for your approval.
Sending Your Artwork
If file sizes are below 1mb you may email your artwork to us. Above 1mb, we recommend you supply your artwork on disc.
Always send hard copy with discs or a low resolution composite with emails. Any text not converted to paths or outlines must have fonts supplied. We can accept CD and DVD discs.
Proofing
A full electronic proofing service will enable you to check your advert details before we manufacture your calendars.
